The Fall Fair Tradition
The Dawson Creek Fall Fair and Exhibition is one of the longest-running agricultural fairs in the Peace Region, celebrating the area’s farming and ranching heritage with livestock shows, produce competitions, midway rides, and entertainment. It remains one of the marquee events of the late summer calendar. Chetwynd and other communities host their own fall fair variations, each reflecting the character of their town. Weekly farmers markets in Fort St. John and Dawson Creek are the heartbeat of the local food and artisan economy during the growing season.
